About Us

A cabinet finishing company, not a directory

Spray My Cabinet is a kitchen cabinet painting and refinishing company. We are not a lead site and we do not pass your details to third parties. When you book with us, our own trained crew turns up, preps your kitchen, sprays it and puts it back together. One company, one standard, one warranty.

The business started because the gap between a good cabinet finisher and a bad one is enormous, and homeowners have almost no way to tell them apart before the drop sheets come out. Rather than try to police that from the outside, we decided to do the work ourselves and be accountable for every kitchen that carries our name.

Where we are based

Our head office is in Mississauga, Ontario. From there we run company crews and franchise locations across Canada, covering the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, Montreal, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Halifax and a growing list of other cities. Every location follows the same written process, uses the same coating systems and is covered by the same three-year workmanship warranty.

How we are different from hiring a general painter

A general painter sprays cabinets a few times a year. We do it every week, with containment, extraction and HVLP equipment most painting companies do not own, using coatings formulated for cabinetry rather than walls. The difference shows up about eighteen months in, when brushed cabinets start telegraphing lap marks and sprayed cabinets still look like cabinetry.

What we will tell you honestly

Refinishing is not always the right answer. If your cabinet boxes are water damaged, swollen at the base, or built from failing particleboard, we will tell you to replace rather than refinish. We would rather lose the job than put a good finish on a bad box, and we will say so at the estimate rather than halfway through the work.

What a project looks like

We visit and measure at no charge, then give you one fixed written price. On the job, doors and drawer fronts come off and are labelled, everything is cleaned, sanded and primed, and the kitchen is sprayed inside a sealed containment. Most kitchens take three to five working days. On the last day we reinstall, adjust every hinge, and walk the kitchen with you before the job is called complete.
